15.3 Transmission parameters
• the transmitter sends CRLF-terminated ASCII
• max. line length: 255 digits
RS232
default: 9600 bits/s, 8 data bits, even parity, 2 stop bits, protocol RTS/CTS (hardware, handshake)
The transmission parameters of the RS232 service interface can be changed.
• Enter the HotCode 232-0-, see section 8.4.
• Set the transmission parameters in the 4 scroll lists.
• Press ENTER.
– baud: baud rate
– data: number of data bits
– par: parity
– st: number of stop bits
RS485
default: 9600 bit/s, 8 data bits, even parity, 1 stop bit
• Select the menu item Special Funct.\SYSTEM settings\Network to change the settings of the transmission
parameters.
• Press ENTER.
This display will only be indicated if the transmitter has an RS485 interface.
• Press ENTER to confirm the device address in the network.
• Select default to display the default transmission parameters.
• Select setup to change the transmission parameters.
• Press ENTER.
• Set the transmission parameters in the 3 scroll lists.
• Press ENTER.

The default transmission parameters will be used if default is selected and the transmission parameters have not been
changed.
