Checking Voltage Imbalance
For 3 phase induction motors, the supply voltage on all three phases should be
in balance. Voltage imbalance causes high unbalanced currents in the stator
windings, resulting in overheating and reduced motor life.

Open the main menu.

Make connections as shown below:
Write down the voltage reading of phase 1 to phase 3 (V
1-3
).

Repeat this measurement for phase 2 to phase 3, and for phase 1 to
phase 2. Write down the values for V
2-3
and V

.
