Dual Channel Measurement
Dual channels allow for simultaneous display of cause and effect. For example,
turning on a motor will momentarily draw a high current and cause a voltage
sag. The current will be high immediately after turn-on and should stabilize to
some nominal value. Especially if the supply is weak, a voltage sag will be
observed. The dual channel mode can be used to observe current and voltage
simultaneously. The scope mode gives many possibilities to zoom in on signal
details so that every phase of the start up of the motor can be monitored.
