Basic One Channel Measurement.
Proceed as follows:

Press MENU twice to open the main menu.

Make the connections as shown below:
The rms voltage readout should be close to the nominal line voltage, for
example 120V or 230V.
The waveform should be smooth, sinusoidal and in the vertical middle of
the screen.
Fluke 43B is in the Auto mode. This function optimizes the position, range,
time base, and triggering and assures a stable display on nearly all
waveforms.
The trace identifier [1] is visible on left of the waveform area. The ground
marker icon (-) identifies the ground level of the waveform.
