Basic One Channel Measurement.
Proceed as follows:

Press MENU twice to open the main menu.

Make the connections as shown below:
 The rms voltage readout should be close to the nominal line voltage, for
example 120V or 230V.
 The waveform should be smooth, sinusoidal and in the vertical middle of
the screen.
 Fluke 43B is in the Auto mode. This function optimizes the position, range,
time base, and triggering and assures a stable display on nearly all
waveforms.
 The trace identifier [1] is visible on left of the waveform area. The ground
marker icon (-) identifies the ground level of the waveform.
