Using the Softkeys
The five keys to the right of the P(previous
menu) key are softkeys. A “softkey” is an
unlabeled key that accesses a menu or menu tree
with multiply functions and operations.
A softkey’s functional or operational status is
shown directly above it on the Control Display.
Pressing a softkey either changes a value or
causes a submenu with new selections to appear
on the Control Display.
To back up to a previous menu selection, press
P. Although pressing R will return you to the
top level menu, it will also reset all volatile settings
and return the Calibrator to 0V dc in the standby
mode. Use the Pkey as your main navigating
tool for moving around the menu levels.
Using the Setup Menu
Press S to access operations and changeable
parameters.
