5.4 Checkingthebatterybeforeits

Check the battery before you charge it or use it
withyourE-bikeforthersttime.
Press the A4on/o󰀨buttontoswitchonthebat-
tery. The battery may be damaged when no LED
on the charge status indicator
A3 lights up. If
at least one (but not all) of the LEDs is lit in the
A3 charge level indicator, then you need to fully
charge the battery before use.
The battery may not be recharged when
it indicates a fault. The battery might be
damaged after being dropped or due to
mechanical impact, even when there is
novisibleexternaldamage.Suchbatter

YER specialist retailer. Never try to
open a battery or to repair it. Damaged
batteries must not be posted
