The frame, battery or components may
not be changed and no holes may be
drilled into them in order to attach acces-
sories.
20.1Transportingchildren/child
seats
The use of child seats is not permitted and is not
approved by the manufacturer. The safe trans-
port of children is the responsibility of the cyclist.

20.2Bicycletrailers
The safe transport of children is the responsibility
of the cyclist. FLYER AG cannot be held liable in
connection with the transport of children and the
resulting risks.
Please inform yourself of the applicable
national guidelines before you use a
trailer, especially when transporting chil-
dren. Only use trailers that satisfy the
requirements of the applicable national
legal guidelines.
The use of a trailer may
lead to severe falls and injuries.
It is not permitted to use a fast E-bike to
transport children in a child trailer in Ger-
many. Ensure additional safety when
riding
with a child trailer. Use clearly vis-
ible,
colourfulags andadditional light-
ing elements. Only use tested and li-
censed trailers and safety equipment.
The handling of the FLYER E-bike is
negativelyinuencedbyusingatrail-
er. You should therefore adjust your
riding style accordingly
. Otherwise
there is a danger that the trailer could
ipoverorcomeo󰀨,whichcouldlead
to very serious falls and accidents

19. Mudguard
Themudguardisttedwithasafetyfasteningin
case an object jams between the mudguard and
the tyre. This releases the mudguard from its
holder to prevent a fall.
You must stop riding immediately if a foreign body
is trapped between the tyre and the mudguard.
Remove the foreign object before beginning to
riding again. Otherwise, there is a risk of a fall and
serious injuries.
You may under no circumstances drive
with a loose mudguard strut, as the strut
may jam in the wheel and block it. The
loose ends of the holders may lead to
serious accidents.
Damaged mudguards must be replaced by a
FLYER specialist retailer before riding again. You
should also regularly check whether the braces
arexedsecurelyinthesafetyreleases.
20. Accessoriesand
equipment
Appropriate installation of accessories and check-
ing their compatibility with the FLYER are the re-
sponsibility of the cyclist/buyer. Only accessories
listed in the FL
YER catalogue are approved for
use with the FLYER by FLYER AG. Check the
relevant accessories for compatibility with your
FLYER model and consider their technical speci
-
cations
(e.g.maximumload,installationinstruc-
tions, etc.)
Always install accessories according to
the regulations and instructions.
Only use add-on parts that comply
with the respective legal regulations
androadtra󰀩cregulations.
The use of unauthorised accessories
may lead to accidents, severe falls
and damage. You should therefore
only use original accessories and
add-onpartswhichtyourFLYER.
