24. GeneralWarranty
1.Retailer’sWarranty
As in most cases, the warranty agreement will be
upheld by the FLYER retailer for two years after
the point of purchase.
After two years, assuming that the battery has
been used and charged as informed in the in
-
structions manual, it should still have a capacity
level
of60%ofitsoriginallevel.
The normal wear of wearing parts (e.g. tyres,
tubes, chains, sprockets, brake pads, paint, la
-
bels) is not subject to warranty claims. The buyer
is responsible for regularly maintaining and caring
for the FL
YER E-bike (i.e. having the bike inspect-
ed as suggested in the instruction manual).
The warranty conditions will become void if you
modify or repair the FL
YER E-bike on your own.
The same appliesif you exceed the bike’slimit
of use by:
• Riding it in races and competitions
• Riding it for commercial uses
• Overcharging the battery
• Using it for other unintended purposes
intended (in particular quick release fasteners
and joints) as required and lubricate them with a
suitable lubricant approved by the manufacturer
