Inspection equipment: Test box “manual torch” (4,045,998)
Check the operating elements and displays for electrical function.
ATTENTION! ?
For proper testing, the lastest version of the service software for the test box
“manual torch” must be installed. It is available via the download center.
ATTENTION! ?
During the test, bend and twist the entire hosepack so that any interruptions in the
control line can be identified.

Connect the test box manual torch (1)
to the test box FSC (2) as shown

Connect the adapter FSC - TMC (3) to
the test box FSC (2) (switch set to Up/
Down)

Connect the manual torch’s control
line (4) to the adapter FSC - TMC (3)

Make settings on the test box:
- Up/Down = LocalNet-devices

Check the operating elements are
working correctly for each interface
version
Example: Electrical test Up/Down as per PP-3188 test schedule:
a) Rocker switch left long, press forwards = LED final current
b) Rocker switch left long, press backwards = LED main current
c) Rocker switch right short, press forwards = LED down
d) Rocker switch right short, press backwards = LED up
e) Press the LED button = the LED button becomes active on the test box display
