Setting up WLAN acc ess
• Requirement: A WLAN must be available and you must have the
corresponding a ccess information.
Information on config uring the WLAN access can be found in the
documentation for your operating system.
Access via UMTS/LTE
You c an purchase the accessories for U MTS/LTE reception from your retailer
or your Fu jitsu Technology Solutions dealer.
If you have ordered a UMTS/LTE module, your device will already
be prepared when you receive it.
You will find information on establishing the connection with the UMT S/LTE
network in th e documentation for the ha rdwa re you plan to use.
Your device can con
nect with the Internet via UMTS/LTE. To do this, use one
of the following ty
pes of connection:
• USB dongle
a USB stick with your mobile phone provider’s SIM card
• a mobile end-dev
ice (e.g. mob ile phone) w ith Bluetooth connection
• a mobile end-device (e.g. mobile phone) with data c able
Ethernet and LAN
EthernetLAN
The internal
network module of your notebook supports Ethernet LAN. You can use it to
establish a
connection to a local network (LAN = Local Area Network).
