Calibrating the pen
Before using the pen for the first time, you should calibrate it so that the cursor follows the
movements of the pen as accurately as possible. You should also always repea t the calibration
if the co-ordination between the pen and cursor movement deteriorates.

To calibrate, call up the Hardware and Sound / Tablet PC Settings fu nction
in the Control Panel. You need to calibrate both portrait and lan dscape
formats.
Replacing the pen tip
With use, the pen tip may become worn or may pick up foreign particles that can
scratch the screen. A damaged or worn tip may not m ove free ly over the screen ,
causing un predictable results when using the pen.
If your p en exhibits these problems, you should replace the pen tip. To do this, use the supplied tool (1).

► To re move the tip, position the tip in the gap
between the two ends of the tool supplied.
► Pinch the tw o ends of the supplied tool
together so that the tip is firmly clasped,
then pu ll it fro m the barrel.
► Replace the tip of the pen with one of
the spare tips sup plied with your pen.
Insert the flat end of the tip into th e
barrel and exert ing gentle pressure, push
it in until it is firmly in place.
If the tip is worn or damaged, discard it.
