Selecting the USB keyboard type
The KVM switch supports various USB input devices. You can use the special fea-
tures of a particular USB input device after selecting the specific USB keyboard
mode.
USB keyboards: The default USB keyboard mode PC Multimedia supports the keys of
the default keyboard layout.
When using an Apple keyboard or a Sun keyboard special keyboard modes allow you to
use the special keys of these keyboards.
The following table lists the supported USB keyboards:
Displays and Tablets: You can operated the computer connected to the KVM switch
via a supported display or tablet:
Controller: The multimedia controller ShuttlePRO v2 is used to operate various audio
and video programs. A special USB keyboard mode lets you use the controller to
operate the computers connected to the KVM switch:
LK463 compatible keyboard: You can connect an LK463 compatible keyboard to the
KVM switch. The order of the 108 keys of these keyboards corresponds to the Open
-
VMS keyboard layout.
