DEFAULT SETTINGS:
Time according to GMT -8:00
Note – If the time and/or date is not correct,
please change them to the correct values.
Satellite
Checkbox – if selected, the device will
synchronize the date and time periodically with
the GPS satellites.
Note:
- This is the recommended setting to use
when the Y58 is deployed in a mobile
environment.
- To use this setting, the Y58 must be
equipped with the GPS option.
DEFAULT SETTINGS:
Checkbox – Selected
Centre Server
Checkbox – specifies if the device will
synchronize the date and time periodically with
the Centre Server.
If this option is selected, you will also need to
use the associated drop-down list to specify
which Centre Server will be used for the time
synchronization.
Note:
- This setting requires a constant network
connection either via cellular or Wi-Fi.
DEFAULT SETTINGS:
Checkbox – Unselected
NTP Sync
Checkbox – specifies if the device will
synchronize the date and time periodically with
a selected Time Server.
If this option is selected, you will also need to
use the associated drop-down list to specify
which Time Server will be used for the time
synchronization.
