4.7 Activate Power-save
Introduction
ÄKTA pure has a power-save mode. The instrument enters Power-save after having
been in the Ready state for a set period of time. The system enters the Ready state when
a method run, a method queue or a manual run ends.
Enable power-save
To enable Power-save, a system must be connected and in state Ready.
Follow the instructions below to activate Power-save.
ActionStep
In the System Control module, on the System menu. click Settings.1
Result: The System Settings dialog opens.

Click Advanced
and
•
select Power-save.

Click On in the Mode field
and
•
type the number of minutes in the Time field.
Note:
This is the time the instrument will be in state Ready before power-save
mode is entered.

Click OK.
