Section 10-5
Using a Phantom
The use of a Phantom is not required during Preventive Maintenance. Customer may use it as part of
their Quality Assurance Program tests.

Electrical Safety Tests
10-6-1 Overview
NOTE: For all instructions in the “Electrical safety tests” section in case of using a UPS (uninterruptible
power supply) the terms outlet, wall outlet, AC wall outlet and power outlet refer to the AC power
outlet of the UPS. In case of further available AC (or DC) power outlets at the same used UPS,
these must remain unused i.e.not connected to any other devices.
