Working with Remote Applications
5. To log out of the device while working on remote applications, select the Close
icon to return to the device and perform the steps in the procedure Log Out
of the Device on page 24. Logging out of the device closes the open remote
application sessions.
Viewing a PDF in a Remote Application
PDFs can be viewed through a remote application. Confirm that you have the
privilege to launch remote applications.
If remote applications have been configured on this device, you can launch the
remote application and view, zoom, or rotate a PDF.
1. Launch the remote application to open the PDF. For more information, see
Launching a Remote Application on page 105.
2. Open the PDF.
To navigate the PDF, do any of the following:
Move through the PDF.
Select to move to the next page in the PDF.
Select to move to the previous page in the PDF.
Enter a specific page number in the Current Page Number field.
Zoom in or out on a PDF page.
To zoom in, select or select the up arrow to increase the zoom
percentage.
To zoom out, select or select the down arrow to decrease the zoom
percentage.
Rotate a PDF at 90° intervals.
Select to rotate the PDF clockwise.
Select to rotate the PDF counterclockwise.
3. To return to the Acquisition screen, select the Close icon at top of the page.
The browser session of the remote application does not end but remains
inactive. The browser session resumes when you go back to the open remote
application.
4. Close the browser session and return to the Acquisition screen.
