Gas Supply Shutoff Valve
The cooktop itself is not equipped with a gas shut-
off valve. If installed correctly, a shutoff valve will
be in the main gas supply line “upstream” of the
appliance pressure regulator.
WARNING: All ranges can tip causing injury. Install
anti-tip device packed with range. The anti-tip
device should be attached to the wall.

Note: Check for proper operation by carefully
tipping the range forward.
Standard Installation
If the construction of your cabinet cannot provide
a 1/4-in. fl at area at the back of the countertop
opening, consider changing the countertop to
accommodate this dimension.
Note: A 1-1/2 in. minimum clearance must be
maintained between the rear edge of the cooktop
and the rear wall above the cooktop.
