7. Tool’s description
In addition to the standard tool, the processing monitoring TAURUS
®
Cisequippedwithasensor-mo-
dule to record the pulling force and the pulling stroke during the riveting operation. Furthermore, the tool
may be equipped with a pressure trigger which releases the start of the setting process only if the blind
rivet is properly inserted into the application and a specific preload has been applied to the nosepiece.
A process data module is integrated in the base of the tool housing which analyses and evaluates the
recordedprocessdata.TheprocessanalysisisvisualizedonthetoolbymeansofanLEDintegratedinto
thehousing.Thesensoricsystemusedinthetoolandtheprocessdatamodulearemaintenance-free.
