9.2 Selecting and changing the nosepiece
Attention: Always use a nosepiece corresponding to the blind rivet size (selection according to table point 6.)
• Exchanging nosepieces:
• Disconnect the tool from the compressed air.
• Unscrew the nosepiece from the tool head.
• Screw in and tighten the replacement nosepiece.
9.3 Setting a blind rivet
• Connect the tool to the compressed air..
• Insert the blind rivet into the nosepiece and place the rivet into the workpiece
• Press the yellow trigger until mandrel breaks.
• Release the yellow trigger.
• The mandrel is automatically transported to the mandrel container (see point 9.5).
9.4 Suction and holding of a blind rivet
• This feature allows the blind rivet to be held in the tool nosepiece for vertical, downwards riveting.

9.5 Emptying the mandrel container
• The mandrel container must be emptied regularly; Overfilling causes the tool to malfunction.
• Unscrewthecontainercounter-clockwiseanddisposeofspentmandrelsaccordingtovalidrecyclingprocedures.
• Screw the spent mandrel container back on to the tool
10. Operating Software
The setting process monitoring is set with the Gesipa GRivCheck proprietary software. The software does not
havetobeinstalled;itcanbestartedbydouble-clickingdirectlyonthePCconnectedtothetool.Afterstarting
the operating software the processing tool automatically connects to the PC and the start screen opens as
soon as the connection is established. If no connection can be made because the connection port to the PC is
not set correctly, the port setting must be carried out as described in chapter 4.5. In the start screen, the area
processing tool shows the serial number of the connected processing tool. The start screen is divided into the
areas processing tool, setting, operating mode, archive and setting, (illustration 3). The manual is called up via
the help function. The language setting German, English or French can be carried out in the Setup menu.
