IDE Channel 0 / Secondary Master/Slave sets the type of storage device installed.
Advanced Menu
The Advanced menu contains the I/O (input/output) configuration settings
of the system.
Serial Port COM1 enables or disables the serial (COM1) port. The options are
Enabled and Disabled .
Serial Port COM2 (FIR) enables or disables the infrared (COM2) port. The
options are Enabled and Disabled .
Serial Port COM3 (Touchscreen) enables or disables the touchscreen (COM3)
function. The options are Enabled and Disabled .
Serial Port COM4 (XBay) enables or disables the XBay (COM4) port. The
options are Enabled and Disabled .
Parallel Port enables or disables the parallel port. The options are Enabled
and Disabled .
Mode sets the mode for the parallel port. The options are Output only ,
Bi-directional , ECP , and EPP .
SATA – Device 31, Function 2 sets the primary/secondary
compatible/enhanced SATA/PATA (serial ATA / parallel ATA) controller in
Legacy/Native mode. The options are Compatible and Enhanced .
