If the Gewa Drums user interface freezes, perform a hard reset. To do this, hold down the power button until the device shuts down, then try restarting it by tapping the power button again. If this issue occurs in a dry environment without climatic extremes, consider contacting customer services.

What to do if I can only hear one pad component on my Gewa G3 Drums?
A
Amy WrightAug 17, 2025
If you're only hearing one component of your Gewa Drums pad (like the head or rim), ensure that the stereo cables connecting the pad and console are fully plugged in. For Gewa cymbals and modules, the stereo cable should be connected to the socket facing the cymbal piezo.

Why doesn't my Gewa G3 Drums console boot when I press the power button?
N
Nicolas SpencerAug 21, 2025
If your Gewa Drums console doesn't boot when you press the power button, make sure the power cable is correctly connected to both the electrical outlet and the apparatus. A successful connection will cause the power button to light up (standby - red, on - white).

What to do if I can't hear any sound on my Gewa G3?

If you can't hear any sound from your Gewa Drums, including the drum kit, songs, or metronome, first ensure your headphones or speakers are correctly connected to the console. Then, check that the output volume dials (Headphone, Master, Mix Input) are not muted. Finally, verify the settings in the routing matrix and load one of the “Defaults” under Menu Master [F2] Routing.

If you can't hear the sound of connected pads on your Gewa Drums, but the Song Player and Metronome are audible, check the settings in the routing matrix and load one of the “Defaults”. Also, if you've been working with MIDI, a turned-off Local Control might be the issue. Check Menu Master MIDI Global Settings Local Control.

myersphillipSep 3, 2025
If you can't hear the metronome sound on your Gewa Drums, but you can hear the drum kit and playing songs, the metronome is likely muted. Check Home [F3] Click [7] Click-Vol. Also, the metronome might not be routed to the output you're listening to; check “Click” in Menu Master [F2] Routing [F1] Others Click.
