à The input KB is active in the AU and NA operating modes.
à When activated, the door opens.
à On activation the output of the mechanical contact is closed (24 V applied at the KB input).
à The mechanical contact function can also be activated via the WRB-5 receiving module, channel 2 (see8.1.2,
“Radio channel FK2”).
à Do not operate the mechanical contact continuously since the drive will otherwise not be able to switch o auto-
matically in the event of a supply voltage failure and the rechargeable battery of the drive will become discharged.
à Do not connect electrical loads to the terminal 24VKB because otherwise the rechargeable battery cannot
be charged.
à The hold-open time when actuating via KB can be set separately.

WARNING
Danger of injury due to impact and crushing!
If there is a rechargeable battery connected, the drive opens after activation KB even when mains voltage
