4.1. PRESENTATION
The LEDI Network IN can be congured and supervised through a WEB interface. This
interface provides you with the following features:
Management of network parameters ►
Management of SNMP parameters ►
Management and diagnostic of NTP client software itself ►
Management and diagnostic of output cards. ►
Each LEDI Network IN has its own WEB server that delivers WEB pages. The WEB site
is a JAVA applet; if needed, you can nd a JVM on the CDROM in the directory Common\
JAVA.
To access the WEB site, type-in the address of the LEDI Network IN in the address eld of
your WEB browser (as shown below) and validate the input

It takes about 20 seconds to load of the JAVA applet. If the load fails, it can be for one of
the following reasons:
1. The IP address is invalid;
2. A network problem

prevent your computer to contact the LEDI Network IN;
3. You don’t have a JVM engine installed on your computer.
For the rst two reasons, you have to check for the IP address of the LEDI Network IN and
your network conguration. For the last reason, you have to install the JVM (see directory
Common\JAVA on the CDROM).
5/ If you have congured your LEDI Network IN in DHCP mode and that your server automatically register DHCP
name in the DNS, you can also use the DHCP name instead of the IP address
6/ Check especially the conguration of your Internet Explorer.
