XML Config File
Password
Decrypts XML configuration file when encrypted. The password used for
encrypting the XML configuration file is using OpenSSL.
Download Device
Configuration
Downloads the device's configuration file in text format. The config file
includes all the P value parameters for phone's current settings except
password for security purpose. Users can use the Grandstream
configuration file generator to generate binary config file from this text file.
Upload Device
Configuration
Uploads configuration file to the device.
Note: The GSC35XX supports the following config file format:
“cfgMAC.xml”, where MAC is the MAC Address.
“cfgGSC35XX.xml”, where GSC35XX is the Product Model.
Provision
Automatic Upgrade
Automatic Upgrade
Specifies when the firmware upgrade process will be initiated; there are 4
options:
No: The device will only do upgrade once at boot up.
Check every day: User needs to specify “Hour of the day (0-23)”.
Check every week: User needs to specify “Hour of the day (0-23)”
and “Day of the week (0-6)”.
Check at a period Time: User needs to specify “Hour of the day
(0-23)”
Note: Day of week is starting from Sunday. The default setting is “No”.
Starting Ending Hour of
the Day (0 – 23)
Sets the time or time period of automatic upgrade, and automatically
update during the set time or time period.
Firmware Upgrade and
Provisioning
Defines the device’s rules for automatic upgrade. It can be selected from:
Always Check at bootup
Always Check at bootup, when F/W pre/suffix changes,
Skip the Firmware Check.
The default setting is “Always Check at bootup”.
DHCP Option
Allow DHCP option 43,
option 160 and option 66
to Override Server
If DHCP option 43, 160 and 66 is enabled on the LAN side, the device will
reset the CPE, upgrade, network VLAN tag, and priority configuration
according to option 43 sent by the server. At the same time, the update
mode and server path of the configuration upgrade mode will be reset
according to the option 160 and 66 sent by the server. The default setting
is "on". The default setting is "Yes".
Notes: Reboot the device to make changes take effect.
