7 ELECTRICAL ADJUSTMENTS
7.12 Adjusting the Pen Exchange Y Direction Value
(CE5000-120AP)
This adjustment will set the pen exchange Y direction value.
This value is used for the 2nd pen exchange.
If you replace the main board, use the following procedure to input the recorded adjustment values.
(1) Load a cutting sheet in the plotter.
(2) Turn on the power while pressing the TEST and ENTER keys.
(3) Select the media mode.
(4) Press the PAUSE key to display the menu shown below.
(This menu is not displayed when the main board is new type.)

(5) Press the NEXT key until the following menu is displayed.

(6) Press the ENTER key to display the menu shown below.

(7) Press the RIGHT ARROW key; the 2nd pen holder moves to the 2nd pen station.
While the pens are being exchanged, continue pressing the LEFT ARROW key until the 2nd pen holder
stops at the exchange position.
(8) Measure the gap between the 2nd pen holder and the 2nd pen station.

(9) Adjust the gap to be 1 mm.
Press the UP or DOWN ARROW key to change the Pensel POS value.
(1 unit = 0.05 mm)
(10) Press the ENTER key to store the setting and complete the adjustment.
