3. Raise or lower the outfeed table until the knife
just touches the straightedge (Figure 31).

To set the outfeed table height for knives:
1. Place a straightedge on the outfeed table so it
extends over the cutterhead.
2. Rotate the cutterhead pulley until one of the
knives is at top-dead-center (TDC), as illus-
trated in Figure 30.
To install the infeed table lever:
1. Thread the infeed table lever into the hole
shown in Figure 29.
2. Tighten the locknut with a 19mm wrench.

For Models G0452/G0452P
The outfeed table must be level with the knives
when they are at top-dead-center. This adjust-
ment has been made at the factory but should
be checked again before operating your jointer.
This adjustment will also have to be made any
time you perform maintenance on the cutterhead
or knives.
