ASI Port LEDs
Each ASI port features two LEDs: Tx and Rx. The following tables describe the available status of
each LED.
Quad GbE IOM
The Quad GbE IOM card has six independent ports. The ports are organized as follows:
GbE 1-4 - Maximum bitrate is 1 Gbps. The ports are labeled GbE1to GbE4. These ports
support fiber or copper cables and use SFP transceivers.
10GbE1-2 - Maximum bitrate is 10 Gbps. The ports are labeled 10GbE1to10GbE2. These
ports support fiber cables only and use SFP+ transceivers.
Table 1–11: Status of ASI Port Rx LEDs
Color Description
Off Port is disabled
Red Port is enabled and there is no ASI input flow
Amber Port is enabled and invalid MPEG data is detected
Green Port is enabled and nulls only are detected in the flow
Blinking green Port is enabled and traffic is flowing
