3. When these levers are operated, the
platform will begin to descend.
The speed of descent will be limited
by the centrifugal brake.
After a maximum descent of 5
metres, stop the platform for 2
minutes in order to avoid the
centrifugal brakes becoming
overheated, which will result in
their working less efficiently.
