MAINTENANCE
To help you to take proper care for your
vehicle, the following pages include a
maintenance schedule and a maintenance
record for regular scheduled maintenance.
Sustained high speed operation or operation
in unusually wet or dusty conditions will
require more frequent service than specified in
the maintenance schedule. Consult your
Authorised Hero MotoCorp workshop for
recommendations applicable to your
individual needs and use.
A well maintained vehicle is essential for safe,
economical and trouble free riding. It will also
help reduce air pollution.
These instructions are based on the
assumption that the vehicle will be used
exclusively for its designed purpose.

•
After cleaning, rinse the vehicle thoroughly
with plenty of clean water. Strong detergent
residue can corrode alloy parts.
•
Dry the vehicle with pressurized air, start
the engine and let it run for several minutes.
•
Test the brakes before riding the vehicle.
Several applications may be necessary to
restore normal braking performance.
•
Anticipate longer stopping distance to avoid
a possible accident.
•
Braking efficiency may be temporarily
impaired immediately after washing the
vehicle.
