1. Push the brake arm (4) by hand in the
direction as shown.
Left hand front brake cable (B) on no.2 side.
NOTE
3. Check the free play of right lever.
2. Turn the second adjuster nut (6) until a
gap is created between joint (7) and the
slot on the first side in brake arm.
3. After ensuring the gap, turn the second
adjuster nut (6) counterclockwise by
half rotation
1 & 2 is marked on brake arm.
4. If the free play is more than 20 mm
further turn the adjuster nut to obtain
desired free play.
FREE PLAY : 10-20 mm
1. Make free play adjustment by turning the
adjustment nut (8) in the brake arm (9).
3. If the free play is more than 20 mm
further turn the adjuster nut to obtain
desired free play.
FREE PLAY : 10-20 mm
2. Check the free play of left lever.

by this method, see your Hero MotoCorp
Authorised workshop.
Make sure the cut-out on the adjusting nut
(1) is seated on the brake arm pin (2) after
making final freeplay adjustment.
