OPERATION
PRE-RIDE INSPECTION
For your safety, it is very important to take
a few moments before each ride to walk
around your scooter and check its
condition.
Always perform a pre-ride inspection
before every ride and correct if any
problem.
Improper maintenance or failing to
correct a problem before riding can
cause a crash in which you can be
seriously injured.
2. Fuel level - Fill fuel tank when
necessary (page 20). Check for leaks.

6. Lamps and horn - Check that
headlamp, tail/stop lamp, turn signals,
indicators and horn function properly.
1 Engine oil level- Add engine oil if
required (page 57 ). Check for leaks.
4. Tyres - Check condition and pressure
(pages 22-24 ).
5. Throttle - Check for smooth opening
and full closing in all steering
positions.
3. Front and rear brakes - Check
operation and if necessary, adjust free
play (pages 17-19).
If you detect any problem, be sure you take
care of it, or have it corrected by your
Authorised Hero MotoCorp workshop.
1. Place the scooter on main stand on a
level ground in front of a wall.
2. Loosen the bolt (1) and move the
headlamp up or down for correct focus.
An improperly adjusted headlamp may
blind oncoming driver or it may fail to
light the road for safe distance.
