CLEANING
High pr e ssure water (or air) ca n
damage certain parts of the scooter.
They may contain harsh detergents or
chemical solvents that could damage the
metal, paint, and plastic parts on your
scooter.
Clean your scooter regularly to protect the
surface finishes and inspect for damage,
wear, and oil leakage.
Avoid cleaning products that are not
specifically designed for scooter or
automobile surfaces.
If your scooter is still warm from recent
operation, give time for the engine and
exhaust system to cool down.
We recommend avoiding the use of high
pressure water spray.
WASHING
1. Rinse the scooter thoroughly with
water to remove loose dirt.
Avoid directing water to muffler
outlets and on electrical parts.
2. Clean the scooter with a sponge or
soft cloth using water.
Take care to keep brake fluid or
chemical solvents off the scooter. They
w i l l d a m a g e t h e p l a s t i c a n d
painted surfaces.
3. Clean the plastic parts using a cloth or
sponge dampened with a solution of
mild detergent and water. Rub the
s o i l e d a r e a g e n t l y r i n s i n g i t
frequently with fresh water.
The inside of the headlamp lens may be
clouded immediately after washing the
scooter. Moisture condensation inside
the headlamp lens will disappear
gradually by lighting the headlamp in
high beam.
