HERO XTREME - Engine Oil and Air Cleaner Service

AIR CLEANER DRAIN TUBE
Remove the drain tube (1) from the air
cleaner assembly and drain the deposit into a
suitable container. Reinstall the drain tube.
Follow the above process more frequently
when riding in rain or at full throttle.
ENGINE OIL TOP UP PROCESS
Check engine oil level each day before
operating the motorcycle.
î Start the engine & let it idle for 3-5 minutes.
î Stop the engine & put the motorcycle on its
main stand on level ground.
î Remove the oil level dipstick (1), wipe it clean
and insert the dipstick without screwing it in.
î The oil level should be between upper and
lower mark on the oil level dipstick.
Always ensure to reinstall the drain tube plug
after draining the deposit.

BRAND: Hero 4T plus
GRADE: SAE 10W 30 SL Grade
(JASO MA2).
Use hero genuine engine oil or recommended
grade oil.

(1) Oil Level Dipstick
î Do top up if oil level reaches towards the
lower level mark or on every 3000 km
whichever is earlier.
î Fill the crank case with the recommended
engine oil through the filler hole. Insert the
oil level dipstick and check the oil level. Do
not overfill above the UPPER mark.
î Reinstall oil level dipstick & check for oil
leaks.
