Headlamp is preset. However in case of
adjustment required, please follow the steps as
given below:
HEADLAMP ADJUSTMENT
î Park the motorcycle on level ground.
î Adjust the headlamp beam by loosening the
bolt (A) and moving the headlamp unit
forward and backward for correct focus
adjustment.
î Headlamp adjustment is done by the
loosening the bolt (A) located below the
headlamp.
î Tighten the nut after adjustment.
The stop lamp switch (1) must be adjusted so
that stop lamp glows when rear brake is
applied. Rear brake free play (page 43)
should be adjusted before performing stop
lamp switch adjustment. The procedure for
adjusting stop lamp is as follows :
î Turn the adjusting nut (2) to position stop
lamp switch at a point where the stop lamp
glows just before the brake pedal is
depressed to the limit of its free play. Turn
the adjusting nut in direction (A) to
advance switch timing or in direction (B) to
retard switch timing.
STOP LAMP SWITCH
î Turn the ignition switch to the “ON” ( )
position.

WARNING
An improperly adjust headlamp may blind
oncoming driver or it may fail to light the road
for a safe distance.
Inspection
SUSPENSION
î Check the rear shock absorber by pushing
î Check the front forks by locking the front
brake and pumping the front fork up and
down vigorously. The suspension action
should be smooth and there should be no oil
leakage.
