hard downwards on rear grip while the
motorcycle is not parked on stand. The
motorcycle action should be smooth and
there should be no oil leakage.
Refer to the safety precautions on (page 29).
î Remove the speed sensor cable stay bolt
(1) from the left fork leg and remove the
clamper.
î Support the motorcycle securely on the
main stand and raise the front wheel off the
ground.
FRONT WHEEL REMOVAL
î Remove the front axle nut (2), remove the
axle and wheel.
î Remove the collar and speed sensor (3)
from the wheel.
Front Rear
Rear shock absorber adjustment can be made
according to the load/road conditions.
î In direction B Softer
î In direction A Stiffer
î Rear Shock Absorber Adjustment
(1) Shock absorber adjustment tool

Always adjust both the rear shock absorber to
the same position. Use the rear shock absorber
adjustment tool (1) available in the tool kit.

î Axle nut torque 6.3 kgf-m.
î Do not operate front brake lever when the
wheel is removed.
