Refer to the safety precautions on (page 29).
î Remove the bolt (3) from band battery (4).
î Disconnect the negative (-) terminal lead
(5) from the battery first, then disconnect
the positive (+) terminal lead (6).
î Pullout the battery from the battery box.
Battery installation
î Reinstall in the reverse order of removal. Be
sure to connect the positive (+) terminal
first, then the negative (-) terminal.
î Check all fasteners are secure.
FUSE REPLACEMENT
In circuit fuse : (1) 15A, 10A
Fuse Type : Blade fuse
Fuse Box (A) Location : Below the seat
Spare fuse : (2) 15A, 10A

î Never use a fuse with a different rating from
that specified. It may lead to serious
damage to the electrical system or a fire due
to short circuit.
î Battery gives off explosive gases. Keep
sparks, flames & cigarettes away.
