Recommended steps for preparing the measurements
– Switch the instrument off.
– Connect the probe to probe input A (or B).
– Turn the instrument on.
– Select desired polarity (± A, ±B).
– Position the gauge block.
– Set the offset to zero (see chapter 6.2 - Adjusting the offset).
– Insert the probe into the measuring device whilst moving it until display shows a value
lying close to the zero value.
– Tighten the probe.
– Choose desired analogue range and set display to the value of the gauge block using
both keys (see chapter 6 - Function keys).
– Take the measurements.
