When the main module's output sends signal to external devices, you need to select different
wirings in accordance with their electrical features and NPN or PNP signal.
●
If the external load is a coil type relay, make sure that there are backward diodes on both sides
of the relay to protect it.
●
You can design circuit diagram for other external devices according to the diagrams below.
External Load
When the main module outputs PNP signal, and connects external load like LED light, relay, buzzer,
etc., its wiring is as follows.

When the main module outputs NPN signal, and connects external load like LED light, relay,
buzzer, etc., its wiring is as follows.

PLC
When the main module's output connects with PLC (Programmable Logic Controller), the wiring is
as follows. If it is source type of PLC, the main module should be set to output NPN signal. If it is sink
type of PLC, the main module should be set to output PNP signal.
