2. CASES AND CIRCUIT BOARDS REMOVAL
2.1 Jack Cover, Lens Cover, Front Cover Assembly (Fig. 2-1)
Caution:
* Be careful not to damage the cables of the microphone.
m Jack Cover (A)
(1) Release 2 tabs and remove the jack cover from the R-case (G).
m@ Lens Cover (B)
(2) Remove the lens cover in the direction of the arrow and O-ring (F).
m@ Front Cover Assembly (C)
(3) Remove 3 screws holding the front cover assembly.
(4) TYPE 965: Disconnect 2 connectors on the VCA circuit board (D).
TYPE 865: Disconnect 1 connector on the VCA circuit board (D).
(5) Disconnect 1 connector on the CON circuit board (E).
Reinstallation procedure and caution:
¢ The O-ring (F) must be installed in the position shown in Fig. 2-1.
