2.2 LCD Case-U, LCD Block, Cassette Lid, Top Cover (Figs. 2-2-1, 2-2-2)
Cautions:
* Dismantle and reassemble only the cassette lid and top cover in loading stop status. After work is completed, return the
mechanism to loading stop status.
¢ Be careful that the LCD screen is not damaged or smudged. (If dirt adheres to it, use a soft cloth to wipe it off.)
* Handle the LCD module and backlight with extreme care.
m@ LCD Case-U (A)
(1) Remove 3 screws holding the LCD case-U.
(2) Release 5 tabs and remove the LCD case -U.
m@ LCD Block (B)
(3) Disconnect 2 connectors on the LCD circuit board.
(4) Remove 2 screws holding the LCD block.
m@ Cassette Lid (C)
(5) Release 2 tabs of the cassette lid.
m@ Top Cover(D)
(6)
Insert
a
flat-bladed
screwdriver
(G)
between
the
top
cover
and
sub
chassis
(F),
and
push
section
(x)
of
the
plate
spring
(E)
in the direction of arrow (y), to remove the top cover in the direction of the arrow. (See Fig. 2-3-2)
Reinstallation procedure and caution:
* To install the cassette lid, first engage sections (z) with the cassette holder.
