Spot
Noise
Adjustment
Before Starting Adjustment:
«
The
spot
noise
Is
identified
as
the
fine
white
noise
that
appears
when
the
lens
cap
Is
attached
after
the
power
Is
turn
on.
*
Perform
this
adjustment
only
for
products
with
which
spot
noise
occurs.
(However,
there
is
no
problem
even
if
products
free from spot noise are adjusted.)
*
After
replacing
the
CCD
image
sensor
or
VCA
circuit
board
(EEPROM),
check
whether
or
not
spot
noise
occurs
and
then
proceed with adjustment.
Porcedure:
1) Start the MAP.
2) Refer to display 1-6.
3) Cap the lens.
4) Connect the color video monitor to video out.
5) Press F key.
Perform adjustment according to the computer display hereafter.

if
an
error
message
appears
on
the
computer
display.
Note:
To
complete
adjustment,
press
the
[ESC]
(escape)
key
twice
to
restore
the
MS-DOS
screen
and
then
turn
off
the
camera/recorder and jig.
7.7 LCD (LCD Monitor) Adjustment
Before Starting Adjustment:

Be
sure
to
perform
this
adjustment
after
replacing
the
LCD
unit,
components
on
the
LCD
circuit
board
or
the
VCA
circuit board (EEPROM), or initializing the EEPROM.

Picture
appears
on
the
LCD
monitor
when
the
monitor
is
open.
Perform
adjustment
with
the
LCD
monitor
open
(SW773
on the CON circuit board set to OFF).
1) Start the MAP.
2) Refer to display 1-6.
3) Press G key.
4) Refer to display 7-1.
Note:
To
complete
adjustment,
press
the
[ESC]
(escape)
twice
to
restore
the
MS-DOS
screen
and
then
turn
off
the
camera/recorder
and
jig.
