(1) Flicker Adjustment
Purpose:
To minimize flickering on the LCD screen:
Incompleted Phenomenon:
Flickering is present in the picture.
Condition:
Set the CAM/OFF/VIDEO switch to VIDEO position.
Load the alignment tape and it the playback (color bar section).
Procedure:
1) Refer to display 7-1.
2) Press 1 key.
3) Refer to display 7-2.
4) Press the U and D keys until the picture on the LCD screen is optimal quality.
5) After setting is completed, press the [RETURN (ENTER)] key.
7.8 Color EVF Adjustment [For TYPE965]
Before Starting Adjustment:
e Be sure to perform this adjustment after replacing the color EVF unit, components on the CEVF circuit board or the
VCA circuit board (EEPROM), or initializing the EEPROM.
e If the adjustment mode is entered, an image (without luminance or sync signal) will appear in the viewfinder regardless
of whether the LCD is open or closed: Perform adjustment in this status.
1) Start the MAP.
2) Refer to display 1-6.
3) Press H key.
4) Refer to display 8-1.
Note: To complete adjustment, press the [ESC] (escape) twice to restore the MS-DOS screen and then turn off the
camera/recorder and jig.
