(4) Close the FL Solutions program (see section 1.11).
(5) Turn OFF the POWER switch of the spectrophotometer main unit.
(6) Unplug the power cord from the main unit connector.
(7) Detach the cover from the light source compartment and close the lid over the hole at the reverse of
the light source compartment cover.
(8) Reattach in the light source compartment the lamp holder with Xe lamp that was removed for the WL
check.
Don’t forget to reattach the cathode and anode cords.
(9) Close the cover of the light source compartment.
(10) Insert the power cord into the main unit connector.
Then start up the spectrophotometer with reference to startup of the FL Solutions 2.1 program in
section 1.10.
(11) Since the lamp holder has once been removed, the Xe lamp position will deviate slightly, thus
requiring readjustment. Readjust the lamp position with reference to section 3.1.
When the lamp positional adjustment is completed, proceed to check of the sensitivity.
