2.2 Names and Functions of Components in Spectrophotometer Main Unit

Sample compartment cover grip
Pull up on this grip to open the sample compartment cover.
RUN indicator lamp
Remains lit while the computer inside the spectrophotometer is operating normally. When operation is
normal, the lamp comes on a few seconds after turning ON the POWER switch and remains lit until the
POWER switch is turned OFF. If the lamp goes off or blinks, it indicates something is wrong in the
computer. Try turning ON the POWER switch again. If the condition continues, take a remedy
according to the troubleshooting in section 3.6.
Xe LAMP ignition indicator lamp
Comes on when the Xe lamp is lit.
