1.6 Installation of FL Solutions Program (Windows 10)
1.6.1 Specifications of Personal Computer
For running the FL Solutions 4.2 program, the following specifications must be met.
OS : Microsoft ® Windows 10 Professional (64bit)
CPU : CPU that allows the above OS to run in your computer
Main memory : Minimum 4 GB
Hard disk : Minimum free space 5 GB
CD-ROM drive : 24 or faster
Interface : USB1.1 or USB2.0 1 or more, RS-232C 1 or more
Microsoft ®
Office : Office2007/2010/2013/2016
NOTE: Precautions on PC setup.
(1) Power save settings
(a) Set “None” for Screen Saver.
(b) Set “Never” for [Turn off the display] in [Change Settings for the Plan].
(2) Desktop
(a) Set “Windows 7 Basic” for Appearance Settings.
(b) Sidebar and gadgets: Remove all gadgets and close sidebar.
(c) Set “OFF” for background services such as Windows Update/Defender.
(3) Security settings
(a) Do not change the User Account Control (ON).
(b) Do not change the Firewall settings from default.
(c) Running of anti-virus software is not supported. Do not run and stay resident an anti-
virus software when FL Solutions program is running. Depending on the specification
of software, the anti-virus software may have to be uninstalled.
(4) Windows Update
Set “Never check for updates” for Change settings.
