1.9 Checkup After Installation and Assembly
Installation and assembly of the instrument have been completed according to the foregoing explanation.
Now check the following items once again.
(1) Is there anything abnormal at the installation site?
(2) Has the xenon lamp been mounted correctly? Check the polarity in particular ((+) side should face
up).
(3) Is the power cord connected properly? Is the grounding wire grounded as specified?
(4) Are cords connected properly between spectrophotometer main unit and personal computer?
(5) Is the printer installed and connected correctly?
(6) Make sure there is nothing obstructing the light beam in the sample compartment of the
spectrophotometer, nor any other abnormality. Then close the sample compartment cover firmly.
