3.3 Usage Time of Xe Lamp
The cumulative ON time of the Xe lamp in the instrument can be monitored. For this purpose, select
[Lamp Usage] under [Utility] on the menu bar.

Refer to section 4.3 for lamp exchange. When the lamp has been exchanged, click Reset Xe Lamp.
When the window as shown in Fig. 3-16 appears, select the lamp being used and set the usage limit time.

When the usage limit time has passed, the message shown in Fig. 3-17 will appear following the end of
initialization of the spectrophotometer. Exchange the lamp for a new one soon after the message
appears.
