4. Connect all peripheral cables to the server.
5. Connect the power cords:
a. Connect each power cord to the server.
b. Connect each power cord to the power source.
6. If installed, close the cable management arm.
Installing the rack rail hook-and-loop strap
About this task
If you do not require in-rack serviceability for your rack-mounted server, use the rack rail hook-and-loop strap,
instead of a CMA, to manage the rear panel cables. The hook-and-loop strap can be installed on either the
left or right rack mounting rail.
