Chapter 9 Inverter Functions
9-11-9
9.11.9 Outputting a Warning When RUN Time or Power-on Time Elapses
 How to be notified when the inverter has been running for a certain amount of time?
 How to be notified when the inverter power has been on for a certain amount of time?
 How to output a signal for the operating hours of the system incorporating the inverter?
 By assigning "Accumulated RUN time over [RNT] (11)" or "Accumulated power-on time over
[ONT] (12)" to one of the output terminal functions ([C021]/[C022]/[C026]), a signal can be
output when the operation time or power-on time exceeds the specified time.
 When the accumulated operation time of the inverter exceeds the time set in "Accum. RUN time
(RNT) / Accum. power-on time (ONT) [b034]", "Accumulated RUN time over [RNT](11)" is output.
 If the accumulated power-on time of the inverter exceeds the time set in "Accum. RUN time
(RNT) / Accum. power-on time (ONT) [b034]", "Accumulated power-on time over [ONT](12)" is
output.
 When setting the values as a rough guide for replacing the inverter, make sure you allow enough
time before replacement.
Accumulated RUN time
monitor
Accumulates and stores the inverter
operation time to monitor the inverter.
Accumulated power-on
time monitor
Accumulates and stores the inverter power-
on time to monitor the inverter.
Accum. RUN time (RNT)/
Accum. power-on time (ONT)
Sets the elapsed time to output Accumulated
RUN time over [RNT] or Accumulated power-
on time over [ONT].
Accumulated RUN time over [RNT]:
Outputs an Accumulated RUN time over
signal.
OFF: Below the set time
ON: Equal to or over the set time
Accumulated power-on time over [ONT]:
Outputs an Accumulated power-on time
over signal.
OFF: Below the set time
ON: Equal to or over the set time
â– Example of [RNT]/[ONT] setting
Accumulated RUN time over [RNT]/
Accumulated power-on time over [ONT] output conditions
Issue a warning when the inverter has been operated for 250 days/year ×
8 hours × 5 years = 10,000 hours since the factory default setting.
Issue a warning when the inverter has been operated for another 250
days/year × 8 hours × 3 years = 6,000 hours since (Example 1).
Issue a warning when the inverter power has been on for 300 days/year ×
24 hours × 3 years = 21,600 hours since the factory default setting.
Issue a warning when the inverter power has been on for another 250
days/year × 8 hours × 5 years = 10,000 hours since (Example 3).
