9.5.6 Modem Settings (Netbiter EC350 only)
Important!‐ThereisnosupportintheNetbiterEC350forusingaPINcodeontheSIM
card.ForaSIMcardwithanactivePINcode,thecodemustfirstbedeactivatedbyinserting
thecardintoamobilephoneandperformingtheoperationthere.ThePINcodecannot
be
deactivatedintheNetbiterEC350.
Enable data connection on modem (Use modem for Argos connection)
Setsthemodemtobeusedforcommunicationasdefaultaslongasthereisagoodmobile
signal.IftheWANinterfaceisalsoenabled,thegatewaywillautomaticallyswitchtoEther‐
netcommunicationifmobilecommunicationisinterrupted.
APN (Access Point Name)
Thisistheidentifying
nameusedtoconnecttoamobilenetwork.Thenetworkoperatorfor
theSIMcardcansupplythisinf o rmation.
